- Silky. Leaves skin feeling soft and silky after waxing.
How to use Body Wax
- Start with clean, dry skin and hair about 5 mm long.
- Prepare the wax as directed on the pack. If it is heated, always test the temperature on your inner wrist first.
- Spread a thin layer in the direction of hair growth.
- Press a strip firmly on top, hold the skin taut, and pull the strip off quickly against the direction of hair growth.
- Remove any residue and soothe the skin. Avoid sun, hot showers and fragranced products for 24 hours.
Precautions
- For external use only. Not for use on the face, eyebrows or intimate areas.
- Do a patch test 24 hours before first use.
- Do not use on broken, sunburnt or irritated skin, or on moles, warts or varicose veins.
- Avoid waxing if you use retinoids or exfoliating acids on the area, or have a skin condition — ask a doctor first.
Frequently asked questions
Body Wax questions
Is SILQ Studio Body Wax suitable for sensitive skin?
It is made for all skin types, but sensitive skin reacts differently. Always do a patch test 24 hours before the first full use.
How long should hair be before waxing?
About 5 mm — roughly the length of a grain of rice. Shorter hair is hard for the wax to grip; longer hair can make waxing more painful.
